Gegen Staat, Verrat und Patriarchat! Against the state, betrayal and patriarchy

Free Lina! Free Özgül! Our solidarity against 129 A/B!

(GE/DE below/unten)

On the 28th of July the first testimony will be held with the rapist Johannis D. as a snitch in the trial of the Dresden case. He will be working as a minion of the German state and thus, once again, the true face of patriarchy and racism is platformed.

The repressive institutions protect and use this rapist for their own needs. On the other hand this rapist found his protection and friends in the patriarchal state as a snitch, while he should be taking responsibility for his abusive past.

While that snitching rapist gets protection as key witness for this patriarchal state, exactly that same patriarchal state was trying to dehumanize a female prisoner, Özgül Emre, by trying to force her to wear prison clothes, a demand to which she objected. This led to to her going on a 44 day hunger strike in her underwear, until she succeeded in having the demand withdrawn. Özgül is imprisoned under section 129B because the German state functions as the long arm of the Turkish state. The Turkish state also uses rape in prisons as a method of torture, but sexual violence doesn’t seem to bother the German state at all if we consider how they work with a rapist and use a fabricated story about Lina.

Our comrade and friend Lina is imprisoned under a constructed sexist narrative by nazis and cops. In their patriarchal world they cannot believe that more than one FLINTA could be militant against them and their system. Let us be clear: she isn’t alone, we are many and more than their fascist minds could ever imagine.

But the German state does fear strong organization and they answer, as always, with repression. §129 is used more and more against local structures and movements who fight against nazis and the capitalist system, like the ones who are accused in Dresden. The § 129A/B is used against antagonist, antifascist and dissident movements that they consider to be ‚a danger for democracy‘. Since 129B came into effect, it has been used repeatedly against exile structures and persons who fight against the fascist Turkish state of terror. Özgül and her comrades, Ihsen and Serkan, are among the many prisoners who have been targeted through the use of this section.

A state can use repression, torture with rape, and dehumanize those who are imprisoned, but it only shows that resistance against fascist fights is legitimate whenever, wherever, and by whomever!

Our heart goes out to those who suffered and suffer J.D.’s violence and the consequences of his accusations.

Out of the assembly of offensive solidarity in Berlin, we send strength to Dresden to all the people who will be confronted in court with the testimony of J.D. after Thursday next week.

We stand in solidarity with all the persons accused under 129A/B.

We kindly invite you to join the open assembly on 7th of august at New Yorck, Bethanien, 19:00

Gegen Staat, Verrat und Patriarchat!

Freiheit für Lina! Freiheit für Özgül! Unsere Solidarität gegen 129 A/B!
