Die Bullen – die Handlanger der deutschen Waffenlobbies und Kriegsprofiteure – haben das antimilitaristische Camp und eine Demonstration in Köln verboten. Anmelder*innen des Camps hatten Beschwerde beim Verwaltungsgericht Köln gegen das Verbot eingelegt, doch das Gericht hat das Verbot bestätigt.

Gegen diese Entscheidung wurde wieder Beschwerde eingelegt, diesmal vor dem Oberverwaltungsgericht. Eine Entscheidung des Oberverwaltungsgericht könnte bis kurz vor Beginn des Camps herausgezögert werden; das Ziel der Autoritäten ist es, die erfolgreiche bundesweite Mobilisierung zu den antimilitaristischen Aktionstagen in Köln im Vorfeld zu behindern.

Jetzt erst recht! ist die Devise, wir fahren alle nach Köln! Das haben die Genoss*innen auf einer Pressekonferenz auf der Domplatte in Köln betont, und dazu rufen alle Zusammenhänge in Köln und bundesweit auf.

Die Choreograpie mit Pop-up-Zelten vor dem Kölner Dom während der Pressekonferenz und eine symbolische antimilitaristische Besetzung eines Bunkers in Köln-Süd machten es anschaulich klar: „Wenn das Camp verboten bleibt, machen wir ganz Köln zum Zeltplatz!“.

„Das geplante Campverbot ist kein Verwaltungsakt – es ist ein politischer Angriff. Wer antimilitaristische Kritik verbietet, verteidigt nicht die öffentliche Sicherheit, sondern die Rüstungslogik. Die Rote Hilfe steht solidarisch an der Seite der Betroffenen und ruft dazu auf, sich den Versuchen, Proteste zu unterdrücken, entschlossen entgegenzustellen“, erklärt Anja Sommerfeld vom Bundesvorstand der Roten Hilfe e. V. Es liegt nun in den Händen der Autoritäten, ob sie unkontrollierbares Chaos in Köln und in der Umgebung verursachen wollen, indem sie das antimilitaristische Camp verbieten.

The police – the henchmen of the German arms lobbies and war profiteers – have banned the anti-militarist camp and a demonstration in Cologne. The organisers of the camp had lodged an appeal against the ban with at the Administrative Court of Cologne, but the court confirmed the ban.

An appeal has been lodged against this decision, this time before the Higher Administrative Court. A decision by the Higher Administrative Court could be delayed until shortly before the start of the camp; the authorities’ aim is to hinder the successful Germany-wide mobilisation for the anti-militarist days of action in Cologne in the run-up to the camp.

Now more than ever! is the motto, we’re all going to Cologne! This was emphasised by our comrades at a press conference in front of the Cologne Cathedral, and all groups in Cologne and nationwide are calling for this.
