Revolutionäres Gedenken: Kyriakos Xymitiris

Mit Beiträgen von Marianna M. und Dimitra Z., die aktuell wegen ihrer Verbindung zum Ampelokipi Fall im Korydallos Gefängnis in Athen einsitzen, wollen wir über Kyriakos Xymitiris reden, jenen anarchstischen Guerillakämpfer, der letzten Oktober im Athener Stadtteil Ampelokipi bei der Handhabung von Sprengstoff starb. Sowohl in Athen, wo er den Großteil seines Lebens verbracht hat, als auch in Berlin, wo er mehrere Jahre lebte, wird Kyriakos Xymitiris aufgrund seiner Omnispräsenz in den verschiedenen Kämpfen gegen Staat und Kapital als revolutionärer Anarchist in Erinnerung bleiben. Wir wollen nicht nur über seinen Lebensweg als Kämpfer bis zum Tod reden, sondern auch einen Blick auf andere Beispiele von gefallenen Kämpfer*innen in Griechenland und Deutschland werfen. Wir wollen betrachten und uns darüber austauschen, wie sie erinnert werden. Wir laden euch dazu ein, zuzuhören oder eure eigenen Erfahrungen mitzuteilen. Das alles im Rahmen des Anarchist Dinner, d.h. mit mediterranem Meze auf Spendenbasis in kollektiver Atmosphäre. Erlöse fließen in die Anti-Repressions-Kasse des Ampelokipi-Falls.

Revolutionary memory: Kyriakos Xymitiris

In an event with contributions of Marianna M. and Dimitra Z., who are currently in Korydallos prison in Athens for being connected to the Ampelokipi case, we want to talk about Kyriakos Xymitiris, the anarchist guerilla fighter who died last October in the Athens neighbourhood of Ampelokipi while processing explosives. Both in Athens where he lived the biggest part of his life and in Berlin where he lived several years, Kyriakos Xymitiris will be remembered as a revolutionary anarchist through his omnipresence in the different fields of struggle against state and capital. Besides talking about the path of his life as a fighter until death, we want to look at other cases of fallen comrades in Greece and Germany, evaluate and have an exchange on how their memory is kept. We invite you to listen or share your own experiences in the frame of the anarchst dinner, which means that we will have free mediterranean meze in a collective atmosphere. Donations are welcome and will go to the anti-repression-fund of the Ampelokipi case.
