Once again the colonial powers take off their masks. Once again we witness a genocide, this time televised, with the complicity of part of the international community, which openly supports a colonial apartheid regime that has existed for more than 75 years. At the time of the release of this statement, more than 14,000 people have been killed and 32,310 injured by the bombing of Gaza. Among them, around 6.403 are children. This is far more than the children killed in some twenty countries at war in 2022. In 30 days Israel killed as many civilians as the war between Russia and Ukraine in 660 days; and eight times more children.

In addition, in the West Bank more than 800 Palestinians have been displaced from their homes and 225 have been killed by settler violence or by the Israeli occupation army. Besides, more than 3,000 people have been imprisoned – there are currently 7,000 Palestinians in Israeli prisons, 2,070 in administrative detention and 5 Palestinian prisoners were killed in the last month – including children. This is not a new practice: in 2022 alone, 815 children were imprisoned. Also in the territories occupied since 1948 there a large number of Palestinians have been detained. Among them are activists, lawyers and artists.

The Western media, however, is constantly manipulating these data, especially in Germany. This country, which uses the guilt of its historical past to participate, once again, in a genocide, is not defending the Jewish people, but its interests in the region. Just this year, at the end of August, Germany concluded a military deal to buy $3.5 billion worth of Israeli weapons.

If Germany’s concern were the security of the Jewish community, it would fight against the anti-Semitism that exists here among Germany’s own white supremacists. However, for the German state, those who are suspected (and de facto persecuted and registered) of anti-Semitism are Muslims or Arabs. This idea is racist and only leads to the increase of Islamophobia and Arabophobia. The Jewish genocide was carried out in Europe by Europeans. But instead of dealing with this guilt and making sure that such a massacre never happens again, Europe, and especially Germany, is once again siding with the murderer.

Therefore migrants are not responsible for the „going backwards“ of the German anti-fascist movement. These accusations are part of the moral supremacist discourse of white central Europeans who believe that they possess the truth, while the rest of the world knows that it is their unresolved guilt for the crimes of Nazism. At the same time, we do not intend to educate anyone, because as if more than 75 years of dispossession and isolation were not enough, the current genocide of the Gazaoui population is being broadcasted live.

We also reject the racism that comes from those who put victims and oppressors on an equal standing. The question of whether those who stand in solidarity with Palestine may or not condemn Hamas is an insult. Of course when crimes are committed it is our responsibility to condemn them. By reducing Palestinian resistance to these events, however, we cannot have a holistic perspective on the situation. In the same way we do not accept that Palestinians be asked to be the perfect, quiet, peaceful victims. The same is not required of the Israeli occupiers, who every day commit crimes against Palestinians.

The conventional media flood us with fabricated and sensationalist headlines, which hinder any critical position against the Israeli occupation, while bombarding us with the word „war“. A war that is impossible because of the power inbalance between the parties. There is an occupier and an occupied. A Zionist colonizer and a colonized Palestine who has the right to defend herself. Or at least that is what is stated by international law, which seems to have been forgotten in all its aspects.

The constant criminalization of Palestinians who express their political opinions, and the ever-present possibility of being accused of terrorism deprive the people of their basic right to political organization, and fosters the forgetting of political-military movements that fought for the liberation of their peoples, such as: the FLN in Algeria, the ANC in South Africa, SWAPO in South West Africa, the MPLA in Angola, the PAIGC in Guinea-Bissao, the Frelimo in Mozambique.

All in all, what we see is that Europe is once again proving to be hostile, and even violently so, towards freedom of expression, thought and protest. In the case of Germany’s state violence against pro-Palestinian protesters, we find many similarities with the images of the violence that Israeli occupation forces perpetrate against Palestinian protesters – without ignoring that in Palestine they can take their life. The withdrawing of refugee status from Palestinian persons is deeply racist and morbid. The ban against Samidoun completely disregards basic rights and freedoms, whose maximum expression has been the razzias happened on 23.11 – repressive practices that invade our bodies and violate our intimate spaces -. The targeting of marginalised communities merely constitutes the beginning of a repression that may be applied on a large scale. We are aware of this and we declare that „if they touch one of us, they touch us all“. We will continue to take to the streets to shout loudly that we need this genocide to stop, and that the occupation and apartheid must end. Around the world, workers and activists in the ports refuse to allow arms to be transported. At the same time, occupations of buildings owned by Israeli companies, university strikes, blocking of subway entrances or actions against companies that support the Israeli occupation in Palestine are organized.

Una vez más las potencias coloniales se quitan la careta. Una vez más asistimos a un genocidio, esta vez televisado, con la complicidad de una parte de la comunidad internacional que apoya abiertamente a un régimen colonial de apartheid que existe desde hace más de 75 años. En el momento de publicar este comunicado, más de 14.000 personas han sido asesinadas y 32.310 heridas por los bombardeos a Gaza. Entre elles, alrededor de 6.403 niñes. Esto supone una cifra muy superior a todes les menores muertes en una veintena de países en guerra en 2022. Además, si lo comparamos con el conflicto en Ucrania, en 30 días Israel ha asesinado tantas personas como en 660 dias de guerra entre los dos bandos; y ocho veces más niñes.

Por otro lado, en Cisjordania más de 800 palestines han sido desplazades de sus hogares y 225 han sido asesinades por la violencia de los colonos o por el Ejército de ocupación israelí. A esto se suman las más de 3.000 personas que han sido encarceladas – actualmente hay 7.000 palestines en prisiones israelís, 2.070 se encuentran en detención administrativa y 5 palestines preses fueron asesinades en el último mes -, entre las cuales también hay niñes. Todo esto no es una práctica nueva: solo en 2022, 815 niñes fueron encarcelades. También en los territorios ocupados desde 1948 hay un gran número de palestines arrestades, entre elles hay activistes, abogades y artistes.

La lectura de todos estos datos, sin embargo, esta siendo constantemente manipulada desde los medios de comunicacion occidentales, especialmente en Alemania. Este país, que utiliza la culpa por su pasado histórico al ser partícipe, una vez más de un genocidio, no esta defendiendo al pueblo judío, sino sus intereses en la región. Este mismo año, a finales de agosto, Alemania cerró un acuerdo militar para comprar armamento israelí por un valor de 3.5 billones de dólares.

Si su preocupación fuese la seguridad de la comunidad judía se encargaría de combatir el antisemitismo que existe aquí, entre los propios supremacistas blancos alemanes. Sin embargo, para el estado aleman, quienes son sospechoses (y de facto perseguides y registrades) de antisemismo son las personas migrantes musulmanas o árabes. Esta narrativa es completamente racista y solo conduce a un aumento de la islamofobia y la arabofobia. El genocidio judío se llevó a cabo en Europa por europeos. Pero en vez de lidiar con la culpa y procurar que una masacre así no ocurra nunca más, Europa y, especialmente Alemania, vuelven a posicionarse del lado del asesino.

Así mismo, les migrantes tampoco somos las responsables de “retrocesos” en el movimiento antifascista alemán. Estas acusaciones son parte del discurso moral supremacista de blancos centroeuropeos que creen poseer la verdad, mientras el resto del mundo sabemos que es su mal trabajada culpa por los crímenes del nazismo. Igualmente, no estamos aquí para educar a nadie, porque si más de 75 años de desposesión y aislamento no son suficientes, el actual genocidio de la población gazauí está siendo retrasmitido en directo.

Rechazamos y no toleramos el racismo que sale de sus bocas cuando se equiparan a víctima con victimario. La pregunta sobre si las personas que nos solidarizamos con Palestina condenamos a Hamas es un insulto. Por supuesto que cuando se cometen crímenes nuestra responsabilidad es condenarlos, pero reducir la resistencia palestina a esto es no tener una visión holística de la situación. De la misma manera no aceptamos que se pida a les palestines ser les víctimes perfectes, callades y pacífices, algo que no se exige a la ocupación israelí que comete crímenes contra elles cada día.

Los medios de comunicación convencionales nos inundan con titulares fabricados y sensacionalistas, que se alejan de una posición crítica contra la ocupación israelí, a la vez que nos torpedean con la palabra guerra. Una guerra que es imposible por la asimetría en el poder de fuerzas que tienen las partes. Aquí hay un ocupante y un ocupado. Un colonizador sionista y un colonizado palestino que tiene el derecho a defenderse. O al menos así lo declara el derecho internacional que parece haber sido olvidado aquí en todos sus aspectos.

La constante criminalización de les palestines por expresar sus opiniones políticas, y la siempre omnipresente posibilidad de ser acusades de terrorismo, privan a este pueblo del derecho básico a la organización política, y deja en el olvido a los movimientos político-militares que lucharon por la liberación de su pueblo, como fueron: el FLN en Argelia, el ANC en Sudáfrica, la SWAPO en el suroeste de África, el MPLA en Angola, el PAIGC en Guinea-Bissao, el Frelimo en Mozambique.

Con todo esto, lo que vemos es que Europa vuelve a mostrarse como un entorno hostil e incluso violento para la libertad de expresión, pensamiento y manifestación. En el caso de Alemania, encontramos demasiadas similitudes entre las imágenes de violencia estatal desatada contra les manifestantes propalestines, con las de las fuerzas de ocupación israelíes contra les manifestantes palestines – sin ignorar que en Palestina te pueden quitar la vida. Retirar el estatus de refugiada a personas palestinas es algo profundamente racista y macabro. La prohibición de Samidoun es un menosprecio a las libertades, cuya máxima expresión han sido las razzias sucedidas el 23.11 – prácticas represivas que invaden nuestras cuerpas y violentan nuestros espacios íntimos -. Utilizar a comunidades que han sido marginalizadas solo es el principio de una represión que corre el riesgo de aplicarse a gran escala. Sin embargo, somos conscientes de ello y gritamos que “si nos tocan a une, nos tocan a todes”. Seguiremos en las calles para exclamar a viva voz que necesitamos parar este genocidio, pero también el fin de la ocupación y el apartheid. Alrededor del mundo en los puertos ya hay trabajadores y activistes que se niegan a que sean transportadas armas. Al mismo tiempo se organizan ocupaciones de edificios propiedad de compañías israelís, huelgas universitarias, bloqueo de entradas del metro o acciones contra empresas que apoyan la ocupación israelí en Palestina.
