Berlin, Christmas 2024. In the nights of Christmas time an anonymous action against the so called mural “Vaterland” (a combination of the flags of Germany and Israel) took place at the famous tourist attraction “Eastside Gallery”-Wall. The action is condemning the Germany-Israel complicity while the genocide is going on.

In a short statement glued to the wall is written (see video in the link below): “Stop the genocide! We condemn Germany-Israel complicity. We will not be silenced until Palestine is free! Let all walls fall!”

Here a full statement to the action:

“It’s been almost 15 months since the genocide began. Even during the X’mas holidays, people in Gaza and the West Bank were being killed every day, every hour.

Germany, we hold you accountable for every single individual who has been and continues to be killed in occupied Palestine. Your genocidal past won’t be redeemed by defending another genocide against the Palestinian people. As “Israel” continues to expose its true face as an ethnocratic genocidal settler-colonial state that does not even represent the entire Jewish people, your unconditional support for “Israel” to “protect Jewish life” is merely an empty pretext to exercise your white supremacist imperialist racist state policy disguised as “Staaträson”.

We also condemn the silence and inaction of the large part of the German left. Especially disgusting is the existence of so-called Antideutsche who unconditionally support “Israel” and its brutality. The German left has become a joke in the global solidarity movement. It is highly dangerous as Germany is, once again turning into a fascist state.

To stand with Palestine is to stand with humanity. The Palestinian people have been displaced from their own land for more than 7 decades by the force of an ethnocentric, fascist state and its expanding military power. This is nothing but an ethnic cleansing. No one should be denied because of their ethnicity, race or religion. We fully support the self-determination of the Palestinian people and their resistance.

Our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of all oppressed people. We will not be silenced until Palestine is free!
