15/16.5 Demo + Kundgebung

Die Køpi ruft ihre Freunde weltweit auf, am 15. und 16. Mai 2021 nach Berlin zu einem Protestwochenende zu kommen. Dem Køpiplatz (Wagenburg) droht die bisher größte Räumungsgefahr – also stehen wir zusammen, um für unsere Plätze & Häuser zu kämpfen.

Seit mehr als 30 Jahren bietet die Køpi, ein selbstorganisiertes Projek in Berlins Mitte, Wohnraum für Menschen in Haus & Wagenburg & ist es bis heute auch ein Sammelpunkt für Kollektive, Veranstaltungen und kreative Energie. Wir geben unser Lebenskonzept nicht für die raffsüchtigen Phantasien einiger Immobilienhaie auf!
Dem vorgeblichen Eigentümer der Køpi, der Startezia GmbH, geht es nur um die teure Vermarktung des Wagenplatzareals nach einem erträumten Klageerfolg – nur ein weiteres Beispiel, wie gemeinschaftliche Häuser & unabhängige Projekte von anonymen Briefkastenfirmen zerstört werden sollen.

Der Køpiplatz ist nicht allein: Auch die Rigaer94, der eine Räumung unmittelbar bevor steht, ruft zum Protestwochenende auf. Nachdem der Versuch zunächst gescheitert ist, unter dem Vorwand einer Brandschutzprüfung das Haus unter Kontrolle zu bringen, wird jetzt mit einer Räumungsklage gegen die im Erdgeschoss befindlichen Räume des autonomen Jugendclubs Keimzelle und der Kadterschmiede durch Eigentümer und Senat versucht, legal Zutritt zum Haus zu bekommen.

Im letzten Jahr wurden bereits zentrale linke Orte wie Liebig 34, Syndikat, Meuterei, Diesel A, Sabot Garden und G17a mit martialischem, teurem Bullenterror geräumt. Das Jugendzentrum Potse und der Wagenplatz Mollies sollen auch bald an der Reihe sein.
Die Gier ist schon zu weit gegangen, wir können nicht vergessen und wir werden nicht verzeihen. Der Køpiplatz ist unser Zuhause & wir sind hier,
um zu bleiben!

Køpi calls for friends and allies from around the world to meet in Berlin on the 15th and 16th of May for a weekend of protest. As Køpiplatz (trailer park) faces the most serious eviction threat to date, Køpi stands united to fight for our homes and family.

Køpi has been a DIY project in the heart of Berlin offering living space for people in the house and trailer park for more than 30 years. It also continues to be a home for collectives, events, and creative energy since the day the first door was broken open. We will not give up our way of life for some state backed developers!

When the law wants to take our homes away, it’s time to break the law!

The alleged owner of Køpi, Startezia GmbH, is just another example of how our homes and autonomous communities are destroyed by anonymous postbox companies that care only about profit and not about people.

Køpiplatz does not face the threat of eviction alone: Rigaer94, who is also in immediate danger, calls for a protest weekend. After the failed attempt to get the house under control with the excuse of a fire security examination, the alleged house-owners and the senate now try to get an eviction title for the spaces of the autonomous youthclub Keimzelle and for Kadterschmiede which are located in the basement of the house.

Last year many essential, left spaces such as Liebig34, Syndikat, Meuterei, DieselA, Sabot Garden and G17a, were evicted with martial, expensive copterror. The youthclub Potse has just gotten their eviction date which will be on the 19th of May 2021 at 8am and the Wagenplatz Mollies is supposedly next in line.

This greed has already gone too far, we don’t forget and we won’t forgive!

Køpiplatz is our home and we are here to stay!
