Der politische Gefangene Dimitris Koufontinas befindet sich seit dem 8. Januar 2021 im Hungerstreik und seit dem 22. Februar 2021 im Durststreik. Er kämpft gegen die Entscheidung des griechischen Staates, ihn in das Hochsicherheitsgefängnis Domokos zu verlegen, eine Entscheidung, die auf einem Gesetz beruht, das die derzeitige rechte Regierung der Partei Neue Demokratie verabschiedet hat.

Aufgrund dieses Gesetzes wurde Koufontinas aus dem ländlichen Gefängnis bei Volos in das Hochsicherheitsgefängnis in Domokos verlegt. Seine Forderung ist, in das Korydallos-Gefängnis in Athen verlegt zu werden, wie es ihm rechtlich zusteht.

Dieser Hungerstreik ist bereits der fünfte, den er in den bisherigen 18 Jahren seiner Gefangenschaft durchmacht. Er ist 63 Jahre alt und aufgrund der vorherigen Hungerstreiks, der langen Haftzeit und seines Alters bereits in einem schlechten Gesundheitszustand.

Wie sein Arzt bereits am 02.03. deutlich machte, erreichen wir den Punkt Null, da sich der Gesundheitszustand des Hungerstreikenden durch den langen Hunger- und Durststreik zunehmend verschlechtert. Es ist möglich, dass er innerhalb der nächsten 24 Stunden stirbt.

Der Staat zermürbt und ermordet D. Koufontinas vorsätzlich, indem er seine Forderung nicht akzeptiert.

Die derzeitige Regierungspartei Neue Demokratie hat durch die Einschränkung der Pressefreiheit, die Aussetzung des Universitätsasyls, die Einrichtung von Polizeieinheiten in den öffentlichen Universitäten, die rassistische Anti-Immigrationspolitik, die Räumung von besetzten Häusern und sozialen Räumen und die Verschärfung der Anti-Terror-Gesetze eindeutig ein faschistisches Regime geschaffen.

Ihre politische Entscheidung, D. Koufontinas zu ermorden, hat auch einen persönlichen Hintergrund. Der Hunger- und Durststreikende war Mitglied der kommunistischen bewaffneten Organisation 17. November (17N), die nach dem Ende der griechischen Diktatur 1974 gegründet wurde. Die 17N repräsentierte den Teil der Bewegung, der mit dem Übergang zur Demokratie nicht zufrieden war und ihn als oberflächlichen Regimewechsel betrachtete, der die tatsächlichen Strukturen der Junta nicht veränderte. Praktisch gesehen war der Übergang von der Diktatur (Junta) zur Demokratie ohne wesentliche Veränderung des Staatsapparates und dies war der Grund, der zur Fortsetzung des bewaffneten Kampfes führte. Die Hauptziele von 17N waren Personen, die in die Diktatur verwickelt waren, sowie der CIA-Chef, Polizisten, Industrielle. Der Schwager des jetzigen griechischen Premierministers Mitsotakis, ein Politiker namens Bakoyiannis, der 1989 in riesige politische/finanzielle Skandale in Griechenland verwickelt war, wurde von 17N hingerichtet.

D. Koufontinas hat seit 2003, als 17N aufgelöst wurde, die volle Verantwortung für seine Taten übernommen und er wird für seine Kämpfe inhaftiert. Seine aktuelle Forderung ist, in das Gefängnis verlegt zu werden, in dem er sein sollte.

Wie er in den letzten Tagen sagte – er will nicht sterben, aber er will auch nicht leben, wenn er wie menschlicher Müll behandelt wird.

Er hat sich entschieden, bis zum Ende mit Würde zu kämpfen.

Für den Fall, dass der griechische Staat sich entscheidet, ihn zu ermorden, indem er seine Forderung nicht erfüllt, treffen wir uns noch am selben Tag am

Political prisoner Dimitris Koufontinas is on hunger strike since the 8th of January 2021 and on thirst strike since 22th February 2021. He is fighting against the decision of the greek state to transfer him from the agricultural prisons near Volos to the high-security Domokos prison, a decision based on a new law that the current right-wing government of New Democracy party has voted. His demand is to be transferred to Korydallos prison in Athens as he is legally supposed to.

This hunger strike is already the fifth he is going through so far in 18 years of incarceration. He is 63 years old and already in poor health condition due to the previous hunger strikes, the long period of imprisonment and his age.

As his doctor already made clear on 2nd of March, we are reaching point zero as the hunger striker’s health gradually deteriorates by the long hunger and thirst strike. It’s possible that he dies within the next 24 hours.

The state deliberately exhausts and murders D.Koufontinas by not accepting his demand.

The current ruling party New Democracy, has clearly created a fascist regime by limiting of press freedom, suspending the university asylum, by establishing police units inside the public universities, racist anti-immigration policies, evicting squatted houses and social spaces and the tightening of anti-terror laws.

Their political decision to murder D.Koufontinas has a personal background as well. The hunger and thirst striker was a member of the communist armed organization of 17N that was formed after the end of greek dictatorship in 1974. The 17N represented the part of the movement that was not satisfied with the transition to democracy and considered it a superficial regime change that did not alter the actual structures of the junta (dictatorship). In practical terms, the transition from dictatorship to democracy was without significant change in the state apparatus and this was the reason that led to the continuation of the armed struggle. The main targets of 17N were people involved in the dictatorship as well as the CIA chief , police officers, industrialists, publishers. The brother in law of the current greek prime minister Mitsotakis, a politician named Bakoyiannis, who has been involved in huge political/ financial scandals in Greece in 1989, was then executed by 17N.

D. Koufontina since 2002, when 17N was arrested, has taken full political responsibility for his actions self-surrender into the hands of the state. In the prisons he was and is fighting for the rights of the prisoners and as already stated prior this hunger strike, he has done four more, not only for personal benefit, but has been involved in hunger strikes for better conditions of imprisonment, against the antiterrorist law, for the freeing of other members of 17N etc. His current request is to be transferred to the prison he should be in.

As he stated the previous days- he doesn’t want to die but he also does not want to live if he is being treated as a human garbage.

He chooses to fight till the end with dignity.

El preso político Dimitris Koufontinas está en huelga de hambre desde el 8 de enero de 2021 y en huelga de sed desde el 22 de febrero de 2021. Lucha contra la decisión del Estado griego de trasladarlo a la prisión de alta seguridad de Domokos, una decisión basada en una ley aprobada por el actual gobierno de derechas del partido Nueva Democracia.

Basándose en esta ley, Koufontinas fue trasladado de la prisión rural cerca de Volos a la prisión de máxima seguridad de Domokos. Su demanda es que se le traslade a la prisión de Korydallos, en Atenas, como le corresponde legalmente, segun la misma ley.

Esta huelga de hambre es la quinta que realiza en los 18 años que lleva como preso politico. Tiene 63 años y su salud ya es precaria debido a las anteriores huelgas de hambre, el largo periodo de encarcelamiento y su edad.

Como su médico dejó claro el 02/03, estamos llegando al punto cero, ya que la salud del huelguista de hambre se deteriora progresivamente debido a la larga huelga de hambre y sed. Es posible que muera en las próximas 24 horas.

El Estado está desgastando y asesinando deliberadamente a D. Koufontinas al no aceptar su demanda.

El actual partido gobernante, Nueva Democracia, ha creado claramente un régimen fascista al restringir la libertad de prensa, suspender el asilo universitario, establecer unidades policiales en las universidades públicas, aplicar políticas racistas contra la inmigración, desalojar a los okupas y los espacios sociales, y endurecer las leyes antiterroristas.

Su decisión política de asesinar a D. Koufontinas también tiene un trasfondo personal. El huelguista de hambre y sed era miembro de la organización armada comunista 17 de Noviembre (17N), fundada tras el fin de la dictadura griega en 1974. El 17N representaba a la parte del movimiento que no estaba satisfecha con la transición a la democracia y la consideraba un cambio de régimen superficial que no modificaba las estructuras reales de la junta. En términos prácticos, la transición de la dictadura (junta) a la democracia se produjo sin ningún cambio significativo en el aparato estatal y esta fue la razón que llevó a la continuación de la lucha armada. Los principales objetivos del 17N eran personas implicadas en la dictadura, así como el jefe de la CIA, policías, industriales. El cuñado del actual primer ministro griego Mitsotakis, un político llamado Bakoyiannis, el cual estuvo implicado en enormes escándalos político-financieros en Grecia en 1989, fue ejecutado por el 17N.

D. Koufontinas ha asumido toda la responsabilidad de sus acciones desde 2003, cuando el 17N fue disuelto y está encarcelado por sus luchas. Su demanda actual es que se le traslade a la prisión donde debería estar por ley.

Como ha dicho en los últimos días, no quiere morir, pero tampoco quiere vivir siendo tratado como basura humana.

Ha decidido luchar hasta el final con dignidad.

Ο πολιτικός κρατούμενος Δημήτρης Κουφοντίνας βρίσκεται σε απεργία πείνας από τις 8 Ιανουαρίου 2021 και σε απεργία δίψας από τις 22 Φεβρουαρίου 2021. Αγωνίζεται ενάντια στην απόφαση του ελληνικού κράτους να τον μεταφέρει από τις αγροτικές φυλακές κοντά στο Βόλο στις φυλακές υψίστης ασφαλείας Δομοκού, απόφαση βασισμένη σε ένα νέο νόμο που ψήφισε η σημερινή δεξιά κυβέρνηση της Νέας Δημοκρατίας. Το αίτημά του είναι να μεταφερθεί στις φυλακές Κορυδαλλού στην Αθήνα όπως νομίμως υποτίθεται.

Αυτή η απεργία πείνας είναι η πέμπτη που κάνει στα 18 χρόνια φυλάκισης του. Είναι 63 ετών και ήδη σε κακή κατάσταση υγείας λόγω των προηγούμενων απεργιών πείνας, της μακράς περιόδου φυλάκισης και της ηλικίας του.

Όπως δήλωσε ο γιατρός του στις 2 Μαρτίου, έχουμε φτάσει στο σημείο μηδέν καθώς η υγεία του απεργού πείνας επιδεινώνεται σταδιακά από τη μακρά απεργία πείνας και δίψας. Είναι πιθανό να πεθάνει εντός του επόμενου εικοσατετραώρου.

Το κράτος σκόπιμα εξαντλεί και δολοφονεί τον Δ.Κουφοντίνα μη αποδεχόμενο το αίτημά του.

Το σημερινό κυβερνών κόμμα Νέα Δημοκρατία, δημιούργησε σαφώς ένα φασιστικό καθεστώς περιορίζοντας την ελευθερία του τύπου, αναστέλλοντας το πανεπιστημιακό άσυλο, εγκαθιστώντας αστυνομικές μονάδες μέσα στα δημόσια πανεπιστήμια, ρατσιστικές αντι-μεταναστευτικές πολιτικές, εκδιώκοντας κατάληψεις και κοινωνικών χώρων και εισάγωντας ακόμα αυστηρότερους αντιτρομοκρατικούς νόμους.

Η πολιτική τους απόφαση να δολοφονήσουν τον Δ. Κουφοντίνα έχει και προσωπικό υπόβαθρο. Ο απεργός πείνας και δίψας ήταν μέλος της κομμουνιστικής ένοπλης οργάνωσης της 17Ν που σχηματίστηκε μετά το τέλος της Ελληνικής δικτατορίας το 1974. Η 17Ν αντιπροσώπευε το μέρος του κινήματος που δεν ικανοποιήθηκε από τη μετάβαση στη δημοκρατία και το θεωρούσε μια επιφανειακή αλλαγή καθεστώτος που δεν άλλαζε τις πραγματικές δομές της χούντας (δικτατορία). Στην πράξη, η μετάβαση από τη δικτατορία στη δημοκρατία ήταν χωρίς σημαντική αλλαγή στον κρατικό μηχανισμό και αυτός ήταν ο λόγος που οδήγησε στον ένοπλου αγώνα. Οι δράσεις της οργάνωσης είναι αποδεκτές από τον κόσμο. Ακόμα και το αναρχικό κίνημα, που έχει διαφορετική ιδεολογική ανάλυση, υποστηρίζει τις δράσεις της. Οι κύριοι στόχοι της 17Ν ήταν άνθρωποι που συμμετείχαν στη δικτατορία καθώς και ο αρχηγός της CIA, αστυνομικοί, βιομήχανοι, εκδότες. Μέσα σε αυτούς και ο γαμπρός του σημερινού Έλληνα πρωθυπουργού Μητσοτάκη, ο Παύλος Μπακογιάννης, ο οποίος είχε εμπλακεί σε πολιτικά/ οικονομικά σκάνδαλα στην Ελλάδα και εκτελέστηκε από την 17Ν το 1989.

Ο Δ. Κουφοντίνας από το 2002, που η 17Ν συνελήφθη, έχει αναλάβει την πλήρη πολιτική ευθύνη των πράξεών του αυτοπαραδιδόμενος στα χέρια του κράτους. Στις φυλακές αγωνίστηκε και αγωνίζεται για τα δικαιώματα των κρατουμένων και όπως ήδη αναφέρθηκε πριν από αυτή την απεργία πείνας, έχει κάνει τέσσερις ακόμη, όχι μόνο για προσωπικό όφελος, αλλά έχει εμπλακεί σε απεργίες πείνας για καλύτερες συνθήκες φυλάκισης, κατά του αντιτρομοκρατικού νόμου, για την απελευθέρωση άλλων μελών της 17Ν κ. α. Το σημερινό του αίτημα είναι να μεταφερθεί στη φυλακή που θα έπρεπε να είναι.

Όπως δήλωσε τις προηγούμενες μέρες – δεν θέλει να πεθάνει, αλλά επίσης δεν θέλει να ζήσει αν αντιμετωπίζεται ως ανθρώπινο σκουπίδι.

Επιλέγει να αγωνιστεί μέχρι το τέλος με αποφασιστικότητα και αξιοπρέπεια.

Σε περίπτωση που το ελληνικό κράτος επιλέξει να τον δολοφονήσει με τη μη εκπληρώση του αίτηματός του, συναντιόμαστε την ίδια μέρα στο
